Yes, both retreats are pet-friendly. We offer enclosed courtyards, a doggie door, pet toys, and a dog bed on request (for a modest additional fee). We simply ask that pets have freshly trimmed claws, stay off the furniture (or use the provided throws, totally get it), and aren't left unattended indoors.
Yes, the high-quality fold-out bed is suitable for an adult and comes with fresh linen and towels. It’s ideal for short stays and is available for $50 per night. Please request it in advance so we can have it ready for your arrival. You're welcome to place it in either a bedroom or the loungeroom.
Yes. We have a chair that attaches securely to the table, and a fold-up cot with sheets available on request. Just let us know ahead of time.
Absolutely. Super-fast, free Wi-Fi is available throughout both homes. Perfect for remote work, streaming, or just staying connected.
Yes. Both retreats feature Smart TVs with major streaming platforms already set up and ready to use. No need to log in to your own accounts.
Yes. Each space is air-conditioned for year-round comfort. The Firepit Retreat also features a cosy outdoor firepit, and both properties have lush winter bedding.
Our chef-ready kitchens feature high-end appliances, quality cooking equipment, and a well-stocked pantry. You’ll also find fresh herbs in the garden, plus a pizza oven and small BBQ at Garden Court, or a large BBQ at Firepit Retreat.
Yes. Cleaning is included in your nightly rate. There are no hidden fees.

Yes. Each retreat includes parking for two vehicles, one in a secure garage and one in a designated outdoor space.
Very close. A short walk to cafes, shops, and the riverfront, and a short drive from the region's best wineries, beaches, and trails.
A 3-night minimum stay is preferred to maintain the quality and experience. If you have specific travel needs, reach out. We’ll do our best to accommodate.

Both retreats are located in a safe, quiet area and include external security cameras, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide detectors for peace of mind.
Yes, just ask when booking. They’re about 50 metres apart, making it a great option for families or couples travelling together.

- Note: I'm happy to offer early check-in or late check-out whenever possible, depending on the cleaner’s schedule and other bookings.
During Your Stay
- Maximum of four guests, unless otherwise agreed
- Maximum of two pets, subject to approval at the time of booking
- No parties or events
- No smoking, indoors or outdoors
Before You Leave
- Please place used towels in the laundry. If you choose to include used bed linen too, it’s appreciated but not required
- Dispose of all rubbish
- Clean the BBQ after use. It’s much harder to clean later
- Switch off all lights, appliances, and air conditioning
- Return the keys to the key safe.

Cancellation terms vary depending on your travel dates. Please enter your check-in and check-out dates to view the applicable cancellation policy for your stay.
Only if rivers, forests, ocean views, wine, cheese, windsurfing, fishing, abalone, and reading books in peace sound boring to you.
There is a wide, step-free entrance and a downstairs toilet. However, the home includes stairs and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
